Regis Jesuit High School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Science Teacher for the first 3 months of the 2026-2027 school year..  Salary is determined using the Faculty Salary Scale, based on education level and years of experience (minimum = BA, Tier 1: $54,000). Salary will be prorated based on schedule. We give 1:1 credit for the first 10 years of teaching experience and then 1:2 for additional years. The position will be eligible for benefits after the waiting period. Interviews will not occur until after Spring Break. Position will remain posted until filled. 

Expectations Include:

• Ability to teach AP Environmental Science
• Experience with Canvas is helpful 
• A bachelor’s degree in the subject area (MA preferred)
• A Colorado teaching license, comparable certification, or working toward alternative licensure
• Teaching 5 out of 7 class periods per two day cycle (Block Scheduling)
• Commitment to the life of the school outside the classroom through coaching, advising, and moderating extra-curricular programs
• Attending assemblies, prayer services, masses, service opportunities
• Modeling Christian values and contributing to forming student values
