Description

Regis Jesuit is seeking a Marketing Manager for the newly formed Marketing Department. This position will begin at $56,000 (commensurate with experience) and includes a competitive benefits package.

The Marketing Manager works to ensure that marketing and social media content of the highest quality is created and shared across all platforms reaching external audiences, and that projects serving Admissions and Advancement are delivered on time. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager collaborates closely with Admissions and Advancement leadership and marketing team members—especially the Multimedia Graphic Designer—to gather content and create messages and materials that are persuasive and on brand. This position works closely with the Director of  Communications to ensure that internal and external communications messages and materials are integrated and effectively express the highest priorities of the school (e.g., access and affordability, excellence in single-gender education, the future Science & Innovation Center, commitment to Catholic, Jesuit values, etc.). This position proactively manages the project calendar for external marketing and communications activity related to meeting Admissions and Advancement goals.

Remote working flexibility is offered, with a schedule determined in consultation with supervisors.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Write email messages, stories, newsletters, social media posts, web copy and other marketing content as needed to advance Admissions and Advancement goals and priorities.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute an effective marketing process and dynamic calendar of messages that support the campaigns and goals of the Admissions and Advancement departments.
  • Create and send electronic newsletters, emails and other vehicles to key external audiences.
  • Ensure that public facing web pages are up-to-date and on brand.
  • Create and implement a social media strategy, monitor the school’s social channels, and share content via appropriate tools and platforms.
  • Liaise with external photographers, videographers and other creative professionals.
  • Manage budgets and bids on marketing projects with external vendors.
  • Collaborate with Director of Marketing and Multimedia Graphic Designer to ensure that brand assets and standards are followed, the best content is leveraged, and messages and materials are visually exciting.
  • Ensure that assets are easily accessed by the Director of Internal Communications and Strategic Projects for use in high-impact projects such as newsletter and presentations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong copywriting skills, including writing and producing digital and print messages and materials that are persuasive, on brand, authentic and fresh.
  • Skilled user of digital and social media platforms for creating and sharing dynamic messages with key audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, and ability to collaborate and coordinate across organizational boundaries.
  • Excellent planning, organizational and analytical skills to partner with others to make sound decisions and solve problems creatively and professionally.
  • Proven ability to manage marketing vendors and partners (i.e., web company, advertising partners, videographers, photographers, etc.)
  • Flexibility, sense of urgency, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Capacity to independently prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness and ability to attend events outside of normal business hours.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a busy marketing/communications department
  • Previous experience managing marketing projects


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience at a high school or higher education institution
  • Understanding of the cycles of Admissions and/or Advancement functions
  • Experience with email marketing platforms
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English)
