Description
Regis Jesuit High School is seeking an Assistant to the Principal.The primary role of the Assistant to the Principal is to provide clerical support to the principal. This includes the coordination of the principal’s calendar, academic events and the testing center throughout the year. Additional functions include the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The Assistant to the Principal is a full-time, year-round position reporting directly to the principal. The starting salary is $26/hour, commensurate with experience. Essential Job Functions

General Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Principal’s Office
  • Schedule appointments
  • Sort principal mail
  • Handle internal and external communication
  • Maintain positive rapport with students and guests
  • Support the Substitute Coordinator with subbing when necessary
  • Coordinate Academic courses for summer school
  • Organize and manage the Testing Center
  • Order correspondence supply (letterhead, envelopes, etc.) as needed for the Principal Office
  • Cover an office receptionist desk during summer months (door, phone, deliveries)
  • Oversee service calls on equipment – Steele Center
  • Perform any other Regis Jesuit duties requested by the principal
Events Coordination:
  • Coordinate all Graduation events
  • Support the Award Ceremony for Underclass Awards/Senior Awards and help organize awards
  • Coordinate Check-in Day and Lifetouch Photos
  • Coordinate Back-To-School Night
  • Coordinate Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences
  • Assist with logistics for Back-to-School meetings, BTS picnic, Christmas Party and End of Year celebrations
Budget:
  • Keep record of invoices for the principal’s budget and reconcile with Business Office monthly
  • Prepare and assist the principal with budgets and credit card processes
Requirements (Education, Experience, Required/Preferred Skills)
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with End Design software and/or Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to abide by strict confidentiality rules
