Regis Jesuit High School is seeking a passionate and energetic Associate Head Coach for Sprints and Jumps - Track & Field. This is a Spring Season sport. Stipend is $4000.

We are seeking a faith-driven coach who embodies the Jesuit values of Cura Personalis (care for the whole person), Magis (striving for excellence), and service rooted in love and justice. The ideal candidate is a strong leader and relationship-builder who is passionate about developing a strong sprints and jumps program at Regis Jesuit.

This position will be the lead coach for all sprinters and jumpers across the program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of training and athlete development. The Head Track & Field coach will support this position closely, assisting with team communication, organization, Assistant Coach hiring, and more.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead all sprint and jumps programming for both the boys and girls track & field team.
• Be a strong partner with the Head Track & Field coach in organizing one of the largest athletic programs at the school.
• Foster a dedicated, competitive, and student-centered program culture rooted in character, accountability, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
• Plan, organize, and conduct effective practices focused on individual skill development, team systems, and competitive preparation.
• Manage the season long training program for athletes of all levels.
• Work in conjunction with coaches from other event groups (distance, throws, pole vault) to form a cohesive team of coaches.
• Communicate clearly, consistently, and professionally with student-athletes and their families.
• Encourage and support student-athletes in balancing academic, athletic, spiritual, and personal commitments.
• Uphold and enforce school, league, and Colorado High School Activities Association policies and expectations.
• Build meaningful relationships with student-athletes and create an environment where players feel known, valued, challenged, and supported.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a mission-driven, student-centered athletic program.
• Strong leadership, organizational, relational, and communication skills.
• Commitment to the holistic formation of student-athletes athletically, academically, spiritually, and personally.
• Ability to connect with and develop student-athletes of varying skill and experience levels.

This is a stipend position tied to the spring athletics season at Regis Jesuit High School. There are additional opportunities to engage in paid offseason programming outside of the spring season if desired.
