Description

Regis Jesuit is seeking a Multimedia Graphic Designer for the newly formed Marketing Department. This position will begin at $66,000 (commensurate with experience) and includes a competitive benefits package.

The Multimedia Graphic Designer creates engaging print and digital marketing content of the highest quality that is true to the Regis Jesuit brand. He/she functions as the team’s primary graphic designer, collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver projects on time.. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Multimedia Graphic Designer works closely with other members of the marketing team to ensure that highest priorities of the school are expressed visually and persuasively (e.g., access and affordability, excellence in single-gender education, the future Science & Innovation Center, commitment to Catholic, Jesuit values, etc.).

Remote working flexibility is offered, with a schedule determined in consultation with supervisors.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Use available tools and platforms to design brochures, newsletters, social media content, web pages, presentations and other materials as needed to engage external stakeholders, related but not limited to Advancement and Admissions campaigns.
  • Ability to learn and/or recommend new tools that would be more efficient or effective for the school’s design projects.
  • Collaborate with the school’s web vendor to design new web pages as needed and to keep existing pages up-to-date and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with external videographers, photographers and other creative professionals to ensure that brand standards are followed, and visual content is of the highest quality.
  • Coordinate printers and other vendors that produce brochures, mailings and other content for Advancement and Admissions campaigns.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to design branded messages for print, web, social media, video and other media.
  • Proficient in Adobe design programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
  • Experience in designing and editing websites
  • Excellent planning, organizational and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility, sense of urgency, passion and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and experience handling sensitive issues and high-visibility projects.
  • Willingness and ability to work outside of normal business hours as needs arise.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in designing print and digital communications materials

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience at a high school or higher education institution
  • Experience with web design using Blackbaud or similar website solution
  • Photography and/or videography experience
